Brianna De Moss
​
She is a proud assistant director of Johnston Innovation. She’s had the pleasure of choreographing for multiple ensembles in the metro over the past 11 years including Johnston’s summer show choir camps and 15+ groups in the metro. When she’s not singing and dancing, you can find her at Johnston Summit Middle School as a school counselor. Her goal is to always leave students feeling equipped and confident to tackle life’s challenges!

Tyler Phi
​
Tyler is a passionate performer with a rich background in dance and music. A proud alumnus of Johnston High School, he spent six years in show choir and served as the dance captain for *Innovation*. Tyler has also choreographed and assisted show choirs, sharing his expertise and creativity with others.
During his junior and senior years, he honed his dance skills at Dance Vision, and now he's pursuing his love for movement as a freshman at the University of Iowa, majoring in Dance.
Tyler’s talents don’t stop at dancing—he’s an accomplished vocalist who sang in choir throughout school, earning a spot in the prestigious All-State Choir his senior year. With his dedication and diverse experience, Tyler is excited to continue inspiring others through the arts!

Emily Roeder
Emily Tinsman, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Drake University in 2019. Recently, Emily completed her Master’s degree in Education Leadership, also from Drake University. Her passion for education and the arts has shaped her professional journey. Emily began her career as a music teacher with Des Moines Public Schools and now serves as the Education Programs Coordinator at Hoyt Sherman Place. For the past six years, she has also shared her love of dance as a teacher at Dance Vision.
A steadfast advocate for arts education, Emily champions her initiative, “Americans for the Arts—Advocate, Educate, Invest,” which encourages communities to prioritize and support arts programs. Over the past decade, she has directed and choreographed show choirs across Iowa, achieving notable success. During her three years leading Norwalk Middle School’s “Sound Sensation,” Emily guided the group to numerous championships and earned multiple caption awards.
