Brianna De Moss

She is a proud assistant director of Johnston Innovation. She’s had the pleasure of choreographing for multiple ensembles in the metro over the past 11 years including Johnston’s summer show choir camps and 15+ groups in the metro. When she’s not singing and dancing, you can find her at Johnston Summit Middle School as a school counselor. Her goal is to always leave students feeling equipped and confident to tackle life’s challenges!

Melanie Dygert

Melanie is a graduate of Johnston High School and is currently a student at Drake University. In high school, Mel participated in show choir, sang in the top curricular choir, and danced competitively for eight years. She was a dance captain for the award-winning show choir Innovation, where she helped lead her team to several Grand Championships. Mel is now a freelance choreographer, assistant, and clinician for schools around Iowa, such as Johnston, Urbandale, Indianola, Ankeny, Pella, and Cedar Rapids Prairie. She choreographs for both Middle School and Prep level groups. Mel has also worked closely with Johnston Impact in a director role. She choreographs for the Johnston Show Choir Camp and has choreographed audition routines for schools in the Metro area. Mel has assisted choreographers such as Stephen Todd and Kevin Chase. Melanie is dedicated to encouraging students to work towards a goal and seek confidence in all aspects of preparation and performance.

Emily Roeder

Emily has been with Dance Vision for almost five years. She has spent the last ten years directing and choreographing for show choir in Iowa. She spent three years with Norwalk Middle School’s show choir “Sound Sensation” winning multiple championships and caption awards. She is a currently a music teacher in Des Moines Public Schools.
