Dance Studio Instructor

Jessica started dancing as a teenager in Utah and fell in love. When she went to college she thought she was finished dancing but found it was an integral part of her life and couldn't give it up so she took classes at the University of Utah while studying Health & Emergency Medical Services and started teaching at a studio.  Over the years she's had the opportunity to be assistant choreographer for a couple seasons of a production of The Nutcracker, she was also assistant choreographer for a Broadway Review and did all of the Newsies choreography.  She was assistant director to a dance troupe that specialized in raising funds for charitable organizations and was a company member for a professional performing company in Salt Lake City.  She's taught dance for over a decade and especially loves to teach and choreograph Jazz to teenagers and adults.  There is such a huge value in teaching people that they are capable of hard things even if they don't find their passion at the "right" time.  She's so excited to teach in Iowa at Dance Vision!
