Dance Studio Instructor

Miss Ashlee danced briefly at a young age but fell in love with the art after watching a friend’s dance recital in middle school. She signed up the following fall at a local dance studio and was lucky enough to have Sabetha as one of her instructors throughout her middle school and high school years.

During her college years, Ashlee was a part of Dance Vision as she returned to take classes and help with recital each year. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a Communication Studies degree, she began her teaching career at Dance Vision and her love for dance grew stronger. Since becoming an instructor at Dance Vision, Ashlee has been certified by Dance Masters of America in tap and jazz, has attended several local and out of town dance conventions and has won several choreography awards at well-known competitions. Miss Ashlee considers Dance Vision her second home and second family.

Ashlee enjoys teaching dance because it allows her the ability to express herself creatively and to encourage the same in her students.  She loves seeing the pride on her students' faces when they master a new skill or trick and seeing their confidence and abilities grow throughout each year!
